Requirements to obtain the title

Safeguarding

Safeguarding ensures the safety and well-being of children and vulnerable adults in sports. Coaches must complete safeguarding training to recognize signs of abuse, neglect, and create a safe environment for participants. 

Vetting

Vetting involves background checks to ensure that individuals who work with children or vulnerable adults do not have a criminal record that could pose a risk to others. It is a key part of maintaining a safe and trustworthy coaching environment.

Sport Inclusion and Diversity

At the Padel Federation of Ireland (PFI), we are dedicated to promoting inclusion and diversity in padel, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to participate regardless of background or ability. We work closely with marginalized communities, disability organizations, and the Irish Special Schools Council to make padel more accessible to all.
